Tempo

Tempo is the pacing of motion within a clip — calm, dreamy, dynamic, tense or chaotic. It shapes how fast subjects and camera move and how much energy a shot carries.

Tempo is separate from clip length: a 5-second clip can be serene or frantic.

Questions

Which tempo for product shots?

Dreamy or Calm — slow moves read as premium.

Does tempo apply to images?

No — tempo is a video-only control, because it paces motion a still frame does not have. On images the mood comes from lighting, palette and the prompt; the rest of the rack, film type through aperture, works on both.

Does a chaotic tempo make the clip shorter?

No — tempo and length are independent. A 5-second clip can be serene or frantic; the length comes from the seconds you request and the engine's grid, the energy from the tempo preset and the prompt.
