Good prompts have a shape: subject, what moves, the camera, the light, the mood, in one flowing paragraph. Enhance takes whatever you typed and writes that paragraph in the register the engines like; Surprise me invents one from nothing. Surprise me is free for every account, Enhance is a plan perk, and both keep your @mentions intact under every composer.

The Enhance button in the footer of the video and image composers, and on the home composer: Surprise me (empty draft) is free, Enhance (rewriting a draft) needs a plan; POST /v1/prompts/enhance in the API (no credits, same split); the enhance_prompt tool on the MCP server, so ChatGPT or Claude can polish a prompt before rendering; `eroq enhance` in the CLI.
Pick one: it goes into the box at the top, ready to generate.
It never costs credits. Surprise me, which invents a prompt from an empty box, is free for every account; Enhance, which rewrites a draft, is a paid-plan perk in the studio, the API and MCP. Only the render that follows costs credits.
Yes: kind "image" writes a photographer's brief instead of a director's.
