A prompt enhancer rewrites a rough idea into a prompt structured the way a generation engine responds to — subject, motion, camera, light, mood — or invents one from scratch.
It removes the guesswork from prompt structure and adapts phrasing to the target engine.

Questions
Is the enhancer free?
It costs no credits. Surprise me — an empty draft — is free for every account, including pay-as-you-go; rewriting an existing draft (Enhance) is a paid-plan perk, so free accounts get a plan-required error there.
Does Enhance keep my @mentions?
Yes — the Elements and Characters you mentioned survive the rewrite verbatim, so your cast and props stay in the prompt. Everything around them is restructured into subject, motion, camera, light and mood.
Can it write a prompt from nothing?
Yes — an empty draft is the Surprise me case and the enhancer invents a complete prompt for the tool you are in. Over the API, send an empty prompt to POST /v1/prompts/enhance for the same behavior.
