Clone a voice
About a minute of clean speech makes a private clone that works on both engines and can be assigned to a character.
- 1
Open Voices in the rail → New voice (or "Clone your own voice" in Voice's voice list) and upload a recording: around a minute of natural speech, one speaker, no music or room noise. Files up to 1 GB are accepted; quality matters far more than length.
- 2
Name it, confirm the consent line, and wait a moment. The clone appears under Cloned in the voice list and in every voice picker.
- 3
Assign it to a character (on the character's page, with their other details) and every line that character speaks, anywhere, uses it.
Whose voice
Your own, or that of someone who gave you explicit permission. Cloning real, identifiable people without consent — including public figures — is banned by the acceptable-use policy and enforced at the account level. Clones are private to your account unless you publish one.
