Products: add them and keep them exact
A brand's products are Elements with their photos; the engines that read photos keep them exact in ads.
- 1
Open the brand, then the Products tab.
- 2
"Add product" opens the creation dialog on a product: pick Physical (shown as itself) or Virtual (an app, a software, a course, a subscription, shown on a screen), then paste its page link (Clap reads the name, the words and the photo), add photos, or write it. Or file an Element you already have under the brand.
- 3
Give it a clear photo on a plain background with the label readable; add a second angle if the product has one. For a virtual product, use screenshots of the app or the page.
- 4
"Read a page" reads any page of your site again (a collection, a product page, the home page) and lists its products, the new ones ticked and the ones the brand already has marked: add them in one go.
Keeping the product exact
Static ads: the recommended engines (Eroq One, Krea2, Eroq Uncensored) look at the product's look sheet, or at its photo when it has no sheet. Engines that read words only describe the product instead, and so does a product without a photo.
Video ads: "Open on the product photo" starts the clip on it, on the engines that take a first frame. The presenter then rides as words: an engine reads either a first frame or reference pictures.
Fine print on a label is the hardest thing to keep: check it before you publish.
A virtual product has no look sheet: its screenshots ride the ads, shown on a phone or a laptop in the scene.
