Take

A take is one rendered attempt at a scene. Rendering several takes of the same prompt and keeping the best is how generated video gets directed rather than accepted.

Takes cost credits each, so the economical pattern is drafts on a cheap engine and keepers on an expensive one, or several takes on a seeded engine where variation is controlled.

On eroq

One to four takes per clip in Video and per shot in Cinema, where the picker chooses the one the cut plays; each take refunds itself if it fails.

Questions

Do failed takes cost credits?

No — every failed take refunds itself individually.

What does a batch of takes cost?

The clip price multiplied by the number of takes, charged upfront — four takes of a Motion One clip is 580 credits. The Generate button shows the total before you commit, and takes that fail refund themselves.

Do I lose the takes I did not keep?

No — every take is saved to your library with its full recipe, and the picker only decides which one the shot plays. Any of them can be remixed or downloaded later.
