Generate images, video and voice from VS Code

One click registers eroq as an MCP server in VS Code. Sign in when VS Code asks, then Copilot's agent mode can render the media your project needs.

Install in VS Code

VS Code asks to confirm, then to sign in

.vscode/mcp.json
{
  "servers": {
    "eroq": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://eroq.ai/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Connect in three steps

  1. 1Click « Install in VS Code » and confirm.
  2. 2Start the eroq server when VS Code asks and sign in to eroq in the browser (Allow).
  3. 3In Copilot Chat, switch to agent mode and ask for an image, a clip or a voice line.

What you get

Every generation tool, one connector

generate_image, generate_video, generate_speech and enhance_prompt, plus the free lookups (models with prices, voices, your characters, the balance). A picture is 10 credits on Krea 2; a five-second Seedance 2.0 Mini clip is 75. Failed renders refund themselves.

No key to paste

Connecting opens eroq in your browser: sign in, click Allow, done. The app gets its own key, listed as « <app> (connected) » under Developers → API keys — revoke it there and the connection stops.

Same wallet, same prices

Everything bills the credit prices of the studio and the API — nothing new to meter. New accounts start with 40 free credits.

Requirements

  • →VS Code with GitHub Copilot (agent mode)

Frequently asked questions

Does it need an API key?

No — VS Code runs the eroq sign-in on first use.

What content is allowed?

Fiction under eroq's written acceptable-use policy — uncensored on eroq's own models. Minors, real people without consent and illegal content are refused by policy on every surface. Inside an assistant, the assistant's own usage policy also applies to what it will ask eroq for.

How do I disconnect?

Remove the connection in the app, and revoke its key under Developers → API keys on eroq (it is named after the app, « … (connected) »). Revoking alone is enough to cut access immediately.
