Remove a background
Remove background is not in the studio today: Image has two tabs, Create and Edit. Here is what you can do instead.
There is no Remove background tool in the studio right now: Image has two tabs, Create and Edit, and nothing about background removal is greyed out or waiting there.
Over the API, POST /v1/images/remove-background returns a cut-out where the tool is deployed: GET /v1/engines says whether it is live, and a request that cannot run is refused before anything is billed. In the studio, the closest thing is Edit: "Picture 1 on a plain white background" gives a clean backdrop, not a transparent one.
